Martin Åsander (b. 1987) is a swedish singer, composer, church musician and trumpet player. He therefore performs in different contexts and musical genres. He is currently a member of the Swedish Radio choir and VoNo. As a chorist and soloist he has collaborated with conductors such as Lone Larsen, Fredrik Malmberg, Patrik Ringborg, Sakari Oramo, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Ricardo Muti, Michael Tilson Thomas.
Martin is frequently hired as an arranger and composer in various music genres, and several of his compositions and arrangements are published by Gehrmans Musikförlag and Ejeby Förlag, including a Mass for choir, strings, organ / piano, flute and congregation. Martin took his studies as a church musician at Ersta Sköndal University, and has worked in Immanuel Church, Stockholm for 10 years. As a freelance musician, he also gives lectures, plays at weddings and funerals and leads choirs and workshops. Martin has also been a teacher and music director at Bromma Folkhögskola
